8m Barge

This barge is an extremely robust vessel.  It was designed as a utility craft to handle extreme commercial conditions capable of carrying 10,000L of diesel to a fuel bunker and for carrying building materials to a construction site for a resort in Vanuatu.  It is powered by a 150hp Volvo Diesel driving a Hamilton jet which compliments this highly manoeuvrable vessel.  Empty, she will reach speeds in excess of 20 knots.

This type of vessel can be built in any length for light or heavy commercial conditions.  It features 6mm plating, stern drive and for its size (8m) can easily carry a massive 10 tonnes.  It is a versatile, manoeuvrable, robust, sturdy, tough work horse, flexible enough to slip into any work task and adapt to any condition laid on it.
